Community Cinema & Events Venue in Grantown on Spey
Grantown Community Cinema was created to provide accessible entertainment for the local community. A space that can be used by all and help to bring together all ages and provide a community space that can be used for multiple purposes.
We aim to show an eclectic range of films, pre-recorded events and programming. Helping to showcase new talent, low and medium budget films as well as the bigger ‘blockbuster’ movies too. We want to offer our community the opportunity to see things they may have missed, or may not have had access to or awareness of.
We look forward to seeing you at upcoming events and are dedicated to making the Grantown Community Cinema a space for all to enjoy.
Age Restrictions
Children aged 8 or under cannot attend a screening unaccompanied by an adult aged 18 years or older.
Children aged 12 or under cannot attend a screening unaccompanied after 7pm
Please do not leave your children at the cinema on their own.

Our cinema guarantee – we will ALWAYS show the film regardless of ticket sales – the only time we will cancel is if there is an issue with the venue or the film.
A change for 2026, we are trialling two Pot Luck Film Showings. You don’t know what you’re going to see until you sit in your seat. We’ll give you teasers beforehand don’t worry!

More than just a cinema
As things start to come back to some kind of normality we will be showing films regularly. The cinema room can also be hired for your own events or meeting.
Meetings
With the wow factor, our stunning cinema room gives you the option of bank seating or tables and chairs with a movie screen for your presentation

From kids parties to adults who want to get together, stick a film on and relax in our cinema room with all the space you need to have a good time without the mess in your house

Alongside our regular public cinema screenings, we have packages to suit your needs from kids parties, teenage film show parties to group meetings.
Choose from the basic package where you can bring along your own DVD to show on the big screen up to a fully catered buffet option and the pick of the latest releases.
Of course, we can also work with you on a bespoke solution to tick all of your boxes as well!
